The sample pack generator mines a track for material. Audial separates the audio, finds the individual hits and the phrases around them, and returns a folder of one-shots and loops sorted by instrument.
Drum results come back grouped by type: kicks, snares, hats, claps, percs and shakers. Bass and melody come back as loops cut by section, at 1, 4, 8 and 16 beat lengths, so a chorus bass line arrives in the exact length you need. Everything is tempo-tagged, which means the loops drop onto a project grid without stretching.
Choose which components to extract (drums, bass, melody) and pass a genre to steer how the track is sliced. Run it from the Sample Pack Creator tab, from audial.generate_samples in Python, from /functions/run/sample-pack, or as the generate_samples MCP tool.
What you get
- Drum one-shots grouped into kicks, snares, hats, claps, percs and shakers
- Bass and melody loops cut by section at 1, 4, 8 and 16 beat lengths
- Pick the components you want: drums, bass, melody
- Genre hint steers how the track gets sliced
- Everything is tempo-tagged, so loops line up on the grid
- Works from the website, the Python SDK, the REST API and MCP

Drum one-shots grouped into kicks, snares, hats, claps, percs and shakers, plus bass and melody loops cut by section at 1, 4, 8 and 16 beat lengths. All of it comes from the track you uploaded.
Yes. Pass the components you want (drums, bass, melody) and a genre. Leaving out components you do not need keeps the pack small and the job quick.
Yes. Samples are tagged with the track's tempo and the loops are cut to beat lengths, so they line up on the grid without time-stretching.
Yes. Post to https://api.audialmusic.ai/api/functions/run/sample-pack with your X-API-Key and X-User-ID headers and the track as multipart form data.
Yes. The Audial MCP server exposes it as the generate_samples tool and writes the pack into your results folder, which defaults to ~/Audial.
